How to Find a Sub

Please remember that we will always do all we can to help you get coverage.  However, unless it is an emergency situation or you are ill, it is your responsibility to find a teacher to cover your classes.  

For Planned Time off

Once your time off has been approved by your Manager, check the "Teacher Availability and Contact Info" sheet and click on your studio area.

(Southern California Excluding San Diego)

  1. If you are unsure who the best teachers are to ask, definitely check with your Manager first.

  2. If you ask every available teacher, and no one can cover you for all or part of your time off request, reach back out to your Manager for help.

For Unplanned Time Off

  1. The moment you know you will not be able to be at work, either due to an emergency or illness, contact your Manager.

  2. If you are unable to contact teachers to cover you, the Manager will work with you to find coverage.

  3. If you are capable of finding a sub, ask your manager who the best teachers would be to contact first. 

  4. If none of the teachers are available, contact your manager again for assistance.
