Meet the Team

  • Sher Warren

    Co-Founder; CEO; CFO

“As Co-Founder with my late husband, Ed Warren, Drawn2Art has been our life's work. The amount of satisfaction we have derived from all of the students who have grown up in our program and gone on to have wonderful careers is beyond explanation. We have touched the lives of thousands of students and brought an appreciation of art to each of them. There can be no greater calling than that. Without art, life would be bland. With art, it is a feast of beauty.”

Drawn2Art means joy, not only because of the joy that art brings into our students' lives, but also for the joy we have as teachers, watching a student find pride in their creation. Over 20 years, I have seen countless students beam with joy showing their latest picture to their parents, or watching an adult see that artistic talent, just like any talent, can be learned. Not many people can say that they were lucky enough to find their dream job. Well I definitely found mine. I have my parents, and founders of Drawn2Art (formerly KidsArt) to thank for that. It has been an honor being entrusted to continue their legacy.”

  • Rachael Cartwright

An important reason Drawn2Art is special to me is to be able to carry on my parents' dream and to continue our family's legacy. Drawn2Art has changed so many of our student's lives, but it has also made an enormous impact on our teachers, managers and partners' lives. There is so much turmoil, angst and uncertainty in our world right now, which can be very stressful. I want Drawn2Art to be a place where our students can come to be inspired, continue to grow and create beautiful masterpieces that they are proud of! Drawn2Art has changed and continues to change the way we see the world.

“Drawn2Art is special to me as it is where my art journey began. I was mentored by the Drawn2Art founder, Ed Warren. His passion for teaching children to draw and paint inspired me to pursue the same path. The Drawn2Art curriculum taught me the fundamentals of drawing and painting. I have the best job, as I get to combine both of my passions which is teaching children to draw and paint and train our teachers in our curriculum. “

“Artmaking is another way to perceive the world. It can be akin to learning another language. It can open up entirely new perspectives. The world is not black and white, it is quite literally and figuratively full of color. We strive to teach our students to see all the facets, to open up the world for them. That is what we can give, and what Drawn2art has facilitated for me to offer.”

  • Lindsay Castro

“Working at Drawn2Art has shown me that even if I may not be having the easiest day, there is still no other place I would rather be than at Drawn2Art. Being part of Drawn2Art and watching our students learn, grow, and succeed is truly priceless.”
