Major Infraction: Being blatantly disrespectful to your manager or co-worker, being inappropriate with a co-worker or student, being under the influence, or not showing up for scheduled shifts.
Disciplinary Course of Action
Minor Infraction:
If a minor infraction is noticed and/or brought to the Director’s attention, the Director will speak to the Employee to discuss how to change the behavior or choice the Employee made that is not aligned with Drawn2Art policies and/or training.
If there is a second occurrence of the same infraction (which has already been informally discussed between the Director and the Employee), the Director will schedule a one-on-one meeting with the Employee to adjudicate the cause and intent of the infraction. In that meeting the Employee will have to explain why there is a continuous violation that the Employee has not rectified.
Major Infraction: Employee is subject to immediate termination depending on the severity of action. which will be determined by all data gathered from those involved or witnesses to the major infraction. Termination will need to be approved by the Executive Director based on a thorough investigation of the circumstances.
Depending on the severity of the infraction, other steps might be taken, including a meeting with the Director after the first infraction. Additional steps may also be necessary, including, but not limited to, a probationary period to ascertain whether the Employee is seriously trying to fix the problem.
